The South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association (SCC/MLA) Annual Meeting will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, October 16–20, 2026, offering library and information science students a unique opportunity to explore the field of health sciences librarianship without traveling far from home.
This conference provides an excellent chance to:

Student Volunteers Get More
Students can volunteer for as little as four hours and receive complimentary admission to the conference's ticketed hospital librarianship luncheon, where you'll have the opportunity to meet experienced health sciences librarians and hear about careers in hospital and clinical settings.
