This scholarship – which was established in 1993 in memory of Mayo Drake – enables eligible library science students to attend the SCC/MLA annual meeting. Applicants should be contemplating careers in medical librarianship.
Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted for admission to an ALA-accredited graduate library school. (See the Directory of Accredited LIS Master’s Programs for address and accreditation information.)
Applicants must be either residents or attending graduate school in one of the following states: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, or Texas.
